In other words, the Case allows for the substitution of ultrasonic examination in lieu of radiographic examination for all welded seams in a vessel that require examination. I know this requirement does not exist in the 2008 Edition Code.

QCRobert, the Code Case DID exist in 2008 and still does, believe it may now be named 2235-9. Its been through an ass load of re-writes and still sucks, in my humble opinion. That said, I don't know if you need a CC for Div 1?
In any case, if you wish to use the CC, you are mandated to use an AUT process; phased array or ToFD. I have a lot of history with this case as I was trying to modify it for use with B31.3 High Pressure.
