I've been searching around the forum for this problem. Others have had this issue with earlier versions of DVB dream and earlier version of Power DVD but I can't find any information related to the specific version. Is there a file that I need to add to the source folder of DVB Dream (i.e. I know that guids is now codecs.ini.
Can I use the earlier version of the guids.ini and merely copy and paste the information contained into this to the codecs.ini file? I've tried this latter approach but the codec is still not listed in the options. I would be extremely appreciative of any help.ThanksDave.
There are no 'CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD9)' video decoder selections in the drop-down lists in DVBViewer for both MPEG2 and H.264.This is the best decoder after installatin the latest PDVD9 patch for both MPEG2 and H.264. And this decoder can be seleced in ProgDVB as you can see:The 'CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD9)' decoder properties:In DVBViewer, no the decoder selections.Maybe DVBViewer and ProgDVB use different ways to retrieve decoders, hopefully we can get the CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD9)' decoder for both MPEG2 and H.264.Best regards. Ok, please state your PowerDVD9 version and version of the Cyberlink H.264/AVC decoder. This decoder should be invisible in DirectShow due to copyprotection and not usable by any third party software.
Cyberlink Codec Download
So it is very intresting to know which versions you guys have, Cyberlink may have messed up applying the protection or somebody may have managed to remove the lockdown in some hacked version. And IS IT A TRIAL VERSION or a paid version. And i am not interested in a hacked version. I am willing to pay for software, if it works. If nobody pays, nobody develop.
